Community Enhancement Grants

The Community Enhancement Program is funded by a set percentage of Transient Occupancy Tax receipts. The goal of the program is to stimulate tourism, promote the economy, create jobs, and improve quality of life. Organizations and activities eligible to apply for funding include museums, tourism bureaus, economic development councils, chambers of commerce and similar groups. County programs and projects that generate tourism also can compete for the funds.

Community Enhancement Grants shall not be used for any purposes prohibited by laws governing the use of public funds such as religious and political campaigning or purely private purposes or activities.
